I just got off the phone with a customer ours. It was pretty funny.
The phone connection was not that good and English was not their first
language. Here is the transcript of the conversation:
Henry: Hello, this is Henry with _______, how can I help you?
Customer: [in broken english] Ah, yeah, I have heard about a holiday next Friday, are you gretvs still opesfgsn?
Henry: I am sorry, could you repeat that?
Customer: Ah, are you -adfa-er open nex-adfa-day?
Henry: We are open all of next week.
Customer: So, you are open for the holiday next friday. What is the deal with next friday, April first?
Henry: Ah, It is an… informal national holiday, but all banks are still open.
Customer: Thank you.
Yea, so the customer did not know what the deal was about April
Fool’s day. This is quite understandable, since the person is not from
this country. However, this did not detract from the hillarity of the
situation.

Banks should be closed on April Fool’s Day. When some of
my co-workers experience what’s in store for them Friday morning,
they’ll wish they had the day off. Muhahahah!
