My buddy Scott brought this ad to my attention:
What the crap? Why Wonder Woman? Why not Superman? Is this an attack on women? No. After a bit of digging, it looks like the ad comes from the AIDES foundation, a french anti-AIDS organization. They also have one picturing Superman with AIDS. Taken as a whole, I think they are pretty effective. Its easy to say to oneself that I won’t get AIDS, it does not affect me, it only hurts those that deserve it ( it’s punishment from God, right? ). I think it’s pretty effective. To say that it doesn’t affect oneself is a major mistake. People can get aids from flood transfusions, medical accidents, cheating partners, etc, etc,

Yeah, you are right. It would be nice and convient to think of AIDS as God’s punishment for sexual sins. However, it is no where that easy.
