We’re the defeatist wimps; bomb us and we’ll apologise to you.

It is a powerful line, one to keep in mind every time I start to
listen to people who blame us for 911 and the Jews for the actions of
the Palestinian Terror groups.

Perhaps this is the greatest failing of Post-Modernism, the lack of
objectivity. We try so hard not to have our current culture be the
highest standard that we judge other cultures by. In trying to let go
of that, perhaps we have lost the ability to judge other cultures at
all, in the name of not being bigots. However, I think that that
posistion is an unwise one to take, for a murderer is a murderer when he murders, no matter what the culture is like.
