I came across some money for my birthday.  I plan on translating that cash into comic trades.  I don’t have many comics, as my friends are awash in them.  As a result, I am never sure what to buy.  Do I try to find new stories or do I purchase that which I know to be good from the piggying off of my friends?

Anyway, to kill some more time, I am looking up some trades to look for this weekend. As Meredith has just bought the Captain America Omnibus, which collects CA 1-25, I thought I’d pick up the following:

• The Death of Captain America, Vol. 1 which collects Captain America 25-30

• The Death of Captain America, Vol. 2 which collects Captain America 31-36

• Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America which collects the reactions to his death by some of the major players in the marvel uni.

• Some of the Y! the Last Man trades

• Superman / Batman / Wonder Woman : Trinity

• Superman: Red Son

• Ultimates Vol 1

• Ultimates Vol 2

• Ultimate Galactus Trilogy

• Infinite Crisis (its such a mainstay)

• Annihilation Vol 1, 2, and 3

I’ve written down how much these cost on the back of pocket itinerary of the programming I wanna attend so I know if I am better off getting them there or from Amazon with free shipping.  We will see how it goes.
