Looks like Super Smash Brothers Brawl will allow you to send your friends replay footage.

This is shaping up to be such a great game! Between this and Mario
Kart for the Wii, no work will get done in our household in the 1st
quarter of 2008. Dishes will pile up, schools will expel, jobs will
fire, Meredith and I will get nothing done.

I’m inching closer to getting a Wii. If I got one and three games, what
would you suggest? Are there any games with online multiplayer yet? If
you, me and brendan could have a WAN party (Wii Area Network) that
would be sweet.

I would go with Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Bros. The
last two will have online head-to-head action. Metroid Prime 3 is just
plain beautiful and awesome in its own right. The other two games that
I have loved are Super Paper Mario and Big Brain Academy. In BBA you
can send scores, but no online live competition.

The only games that have real online multiplayer action that are out right now are Mario Strikers (soccer) and Madden 2008.
