Now that Firefox 3.0 has been out in the wild for a few weeks, and everyone has adopted it because of its lower memory footprint and time-saving new features, here are some ways to spruce up your browsing experience.
1. Fix Google and it’s services :
- CustomizeGoogle – like privacy? dislike ads? Then add this and you’ll get so much more.
- Gmail Manager
- Better Gmail
- Better Google Calandar
- Better Google Reader
2. Maximize your browsing space – Ok, you have moved all of your navigation buttons, address bar, and search bar up to the “file” bar and turned off the “navigation bar” to maximize your screen real estate. Here are your next steps:
Tiny Menu – Reduce “File – Edit – View – History – Bookmarks – Tools – Help” to “Menu” - Download Statusbar – We all hate that lil’ box that pops up when you go to download a file – integrate it into your status bar with this handy, dandy plugin.
- FaviconizeTab – Run Pandora or some other site all the time and you don’t want it taking up a lot of space, or you like your tabs super small? This puppy will reduce your tabs to their favicon.
3. Geep on Twiddin on :: TwitterFox – write and receive twids from your browser
4. No. More. Ads. :: Adblock Plus – simple, really – zap those ads.
5. I love thing page, but it needs…
