Honzo August 30th, 2005

Yesterday, I posted about Neal Bootz’s claim
that we had found WMD in Iraq. The claim seemed dubious because a) The
press has said nothing about this, b)The GOP has not been screaming “I
told you so”, and c)The Democrats and Anti-War Proponents have been
screaming “I told you so.” After taking a look at this, the following
is what I found.

timeline of events it looks like the only reason that France and Russia
only objected to the war because of the oil contracts they had secured
with Iraq in the event that sanctions werelifted.”

Nobody can claim that was their ONLY reason. You would have to know
their thoughts to judge that. We can only judge what people say and do.

I take back “the only reason”, but when the hand is in that large of a
cookie jar, it is awefully hard not to extrapolate a tiny bit.

Nobody can claim that was their ONLY reason. You
would have to know their thoughts to judge that. We can only judge what
people say and do.
