Honzo December 16th, 2005

There is a lot going on in the world and in my life right
now. Due to that, the five or six posts I want to make will be
condensed into one.

Major Stories:

• 70% of Iraqi’s voted in peace.
  - Awesome. There has been amazing progress. In less than three years
  time to over throw a brutal dictator and install a free democracy in a
  region that has never known it. A great humanitarian work… in
  progress.
• Patriot Act Defeated in Senate Good. Too much stuff that is not terror related.
• Bush Administration Our Federal Government spied on a 500 Americans at a time independent of court over watch.
  This is a tough one. It looks like it stopped a few actual terror
  strikes from happening. Things like this might be needed to keep us
  safe, yet it is unsettling. People pass this off as just Bush, but the
  article point to members of both parties at various levels of
  government being quite involved. I am throwing up an undecided here.
