No, not lusting after the flesh, but after the tech. It is that time of year again where I find myself looking lustfully at the few technological devices that would complete my life and make it whole again.

Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 2.0 500GB Hard Drive -Why do I need this? My Xbox 360 recently level up to a L54 Mage and learned the ability to play Divx video files over my network. This makes me want to encode all of my DVDs into divx files and keep them on the 500GB HD. How sweet would that be? Just fire up the Xbox and peruse a digital library of movies and TV shows…. I wonder if you could hook it up to the 360 directly?

Apple Laptop - any kind - As Meredith’s laptop is giving us fits (there is a loose video connector in there somewhere) and I lug my heavy HP around, I am tempted to get a super thin, super light, super slick apple notebook. Only two problems… I don’t need one and I don’t need to spend the money.

Mass Effect, Bio Shock, Super Mario Galaxy, Assassin’s Creed, and Call of Duty 4 - So many video games, so much work to do. I totally need all of these games all at once. You know, because I still need to finish Metroid Prime 3 and Lego Star Wars.

An HD TV - Yea. Because the TV I have now totally still works.

I wonder what else I don’t need to buy?
