I received this conservative Xian email today which showcased an op-ed entitled “Who Will Protect Us Against Invasion?” by Phyllis Schlafly which was hosted at the American Empire Christian Worldview Network, which has a gorgeously designed site.
While I was glancing over her case for Bush ordering the defense of Arizona and leaving some feedback that critiqued Xians involvement in political affairs, I noticed some amazingly accurate targeted ads:

That website makes me sick to my stomach on every level. Did she seriously compare the Mexican military entering Arizona to Russia shelling Georgia?
yeah… It is incredibly frustrating to read those columns, because they completely buy into the american christian exceptionalist manifest destiny whatever system. America = Christianity = the New Jerusalem which need to be defended and expanded.
Until that cracks for them everything anyone else says will fall of deaf, but very much armed ears.
