I did it. I know it is evil, but I just apple’d up. I pulled the trigger on a refurb’ed 30 Gig gen 5 Ipod. They had a pretty decent deal running at Apple.com.

I have not gone the way of the bight and shiny paladin of computers,
I have not not yet gone Mac, because I want to still go back. Well
that, and they are a third more expensive.

    I love my iPod - I have had it for three months now, and just recently finished getting all of my cds on there.


    But now I never leave home without it!

    The Zune…. Untried. You know you are solid with the Ipod. I don’t know enough to make that decision.

    Not the worst choice. I’ve found a good list of reviews, see the link above.

    Any feedback after a half year usage of the ipod?
