After reading some Foucault, I am starting to get freaked out at survalence [sic] and self-normalization.
Keep reading Foucault and you will turn into a liberal! :)

1) I don't have time to articulate it here, but I think you are partly
right and partly wrong, I hope to get to this later this week.

2) I almost think we are... voluntarily. Myspace, facebook, ect...
broadcasting our habits our locations, ect... After reading some
Foucault, I am starting to get freaked out at survalence and
self-normalization.

3) I see both sides, but I think I lean towards Cato's idea of economic
reform as the first step towards human rights reform. Punishment and
isolation get us North Korea and Late-Saddam Iraq.

4) I want to very badly, but it is hard to get away. We had a ride down here this time.

How does the Iraq War relate to the government's anti-terror policies?
It makes it harder to fight and has emboldened terrorists to continue the fight.
Are we as a society giving up too much of our privacy?
Yes and no. We have too much privacy (i.e. individualism, isolation) in some areas, too little in other areas.
Should we continue to engage China economically or punish them economically?
Hmmm...tough question. I am not really sure...
Meredith and I are about to head south and hit Little Rock tonight to see our newest niece. See you all later.
Cool...when are you coming to Chicago?
